Capability OS

An operating system for how organizations behave.

Azimut designs behavioral architecture, then reinforces it through practice, manager support, and AI-enabled transfer. We don’t teach topics; we design how organizations operate.

The four domains

The operating conditions of a healthy organization.

Capability OS is Azimut’s behavioral operating system: four interdependent domains (Clarity, Accountability, Dialogue, Learning) broken into 12 measurable clusters. It is a standardized architecture of diagnostic, labs, AI-personalized practice, and reporting, not a course catalogue.

Each domain has a precise function and reduces a precise failure mode. Together they form an interdependent loop, which is why we build them as a system, not as separate trainings.

The master taxonomy

4 domains × 3 clusters = 12 behavioral capabilities.

The names are fixed and standardized: identical across diagnostic, labs, rubrics, and reporting. That is what makes progress measurable across programs and across years.

Clarity

Direction

  • Priority Translation
  • Decision Ownership
  • Expectation Framing

Accountability

Execution

  • Commitment Discipline
  • Ownership & Follow-Through
  • Performance Correction

Dialogue

Coordination

  • Active Listening & Understanding
  • Constructive Dissent & Conflict Navigation
  • Feedback Exchange

Learning

Adaptation

  • Reflection & Sensemaking
  • Experimentation & Adaptive Action
  • Knowledge Integration & Team Learning

Fixed vs. adaptive

The spine is standardized. The practice adapts.

What stays identical for every client is what makes results comparable. What adapts to every participant is what makes the change stick.

The fixed spine

Domains
the same four, always
Clusters
the 12 capabilities, fixed names
Rubrics
standard assessment criteria
Reporting
comparable reporting over time

The adaptive practice

Scenarios
situations from the participant’s real work
Nudges
practice moments in the flow of the week
Intensity
pace calibrated to each level
Remediation
targeted practice where the signal is weak

The starting point

Everything starts with a map, not a catalogue.

The Capability Diagnostic measures the 12 clusters across the relevant audiences and produces a behavioral map with clear priority signals. Programs are built on the real gaps, not on fashionable topics.

Frequently asked questions

Capability OS is Azimut’s behavioral operating system: four interdependent domains (Clarity, Accountability, Dialogue, Learning) broken into 12 measurable clusters. It is a standardized architecture of diagnostic, labs, practice, and reporting, not a course catalogue.

Clarity (direction, reduces ambiguity), Accountability (execution, reduces drift), Dialogue (coordination, reduces distortion and silence), and Learning (adaptation, reduces repetition and stagnation). Together they form a loop: each domain feeds the next.

The spine (domains, clusters, rubrics, reporting) stays identical for every client, which makes results comparable. The practice (scenarios, intensity, remediation) adapts to each participant via AI, which makes change stick. Standardized where it matters, personalized where it matters.

AI personalizes the practice between labs: it generates scenarios from the participant’s real work, calibrates intensity to each level, and delivers targeted remediation where the signal is weak. It makes no personnel decisions and does not replace the facilitator; it sustains transfer between sessions.

Three per domain. Clarity: Priority Translation, Decision Ownership, Expectation Framing. Accountability: Commitment Discipline, Ownership & Follow-Through, Performance Correction. Dialogue: Active Listening & Understanding, Constructive Dissent & Conflict Navigation, Feedback Exchange. Learning: Reflection & Sensemaking, Experimentation & Adaptive Action, Knowledge Integration & Team Learning. The names stay fixed across diagnostic, labs, rubrics, and reporting, which is what makes progress comparable between programs and across years.

In four formats, each calibrated to a different scope. Capability Lab: one focused capability, 2–3 weeks, up to 15 people. Capability Sprint: visible behavior change on a single theme, 4–6 weeks, 8–15 people. Capability Accelerator: a full journey for a target population, 6–8 weeks, 12–18 people. Capability OS Pilot: a strategic test with executive visibility, 6–10 weeks, 15–40 people across cohorts. Programs are cohort-priced after a scoping conversation.

The data controller is Team Azimut SRL, and processing follows the GDPR. The program sponsor works with aggregated results; individual reflections from the AI-personalized practice belong to the participant and reach the employer only in aggregate. We commit that AI is not used for employment or performance decisions; the practice supports learning, not HR processes.

Three things. The starting map from the Capability Diagnostic: the 12 clusters measured across the relevant audiences, with clear priority signals. Then progress during the program: AI-scored practice performance and manager-observed behavior against the same rubric. At the end, the same clusters re-measured in the same units as at the start. Reporting is produced at individual, team, and cohort level.
