About Azimut
Over 18 years of building capability.
Azimut started in 2008, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We grew from training and team building into what we are today: a capability development partner to some of the most demanding organizations.
The story
More proof. Same warmth.
The first version of Azimut was about happy people at work: workshops, teams, energy. It worked: over 600 programs, over 20,000 participants, an average trainer score of 9.27 out of 10.
But we learned something uncomfortable along the way: workshop attendance doesn’t change behavior. Systems do. That’s where Capability OS came from: standardized behavioral architecture, AI-personalized practice, and manager-reinforced progress.
What didn’t change: how we work with people. Warm, direct, no consultancy jargon. The proof grew. The warmth stayed.

How we work
- 01
Proof-led
We measure before, during, and after. If it doesn’t show up in behavior, it didn’t happen.
- 02
Practical, not academic
We ship work that changes behavior, on participants’ real situations, not borrowed case studies.
- 03
Warm, not corporate
We are practitioners, not vendors. We speak plainly, in the second person, and we stay after the workshop ends.
Who delivers
You are not betting on one trainer. You are betting on a standard.
Azimut labs are delivered by senior practitioners: ICF-accredited coaches and nationally accredited trainers (CNFPA, now ANC), each with real experience inside Romanian and regional organizations.
We do not publish a wall of headshots, and here is why: the delivery team is built around your topic and your dates, so a page of names would be out of date before it earned anything. We will not name a specific trainer in the proposal either; the calendar is set after the contract, and availability moves. What we do commit to: you know who is delivering as soon as the dates are fixed, with their accreditations, before day one.
The bar to deliver
Nobody delivers under the Azimut name without a valid independent accreditation and experience inside real organizations. We check the certificates, not the CV.
One architecture
Everyone delivers against the same rubrics, the same materials and the same program structure. The system does not change when the person at the front of the room does.
Scored by participants
Every session is rated by the people in it. The 9.27 out of 10 average comes from 600+ programs, not from one good year.
Ecosystem
Same building, different room.

Azimut is a capability development partner founded in 2008 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and registered as Team Azimut SRL. It started as a training and team-building practice and today designs leadership and team development programs for organizations across Romania and internationally. Behind that sit 18 years of applied practice: 600+ programs delivered, 20,000+ participants trained, and an average trainer score of 9.27 out of 10.
Szilárd Kacsó is the CEO of Azimut. He did not found the company (Azimut was founded in 2008 and he took it over in 2014), but he is the founder of Leadership Architecture, the sister brand for executive decision architecture. He is an ICF-certified coach and a CNFPA-certified trainer, and he publishes regularly in WeAreHR and TodaySoftMag.
A training provider sells the event; Azimut builds the system around it. Every engagement opens with a behavioral diagnostic, runs through facilitated labs, adds AI-personalized practice between sessions and line-manager reinforcement of 15–20 minutes per week per participant, then re-measures the same behaviors against the same rubrics at the end. Attendance creates awareness. The system around it is what changes Monday morning.
Programs are delivered by senior practitioners: ICF-accredited coaches and nationally accredited trainers (CNFPA, now ANC), each with real experience inside Romanian organizations. We do not publish a roster, because the team is built around the topic and the calendar, and a trainer cannot be promised in a proposal while delivery dates are set after the contract. You know who is delivering as soon as the dates are fixed, with their accreditations, before day one. Szilárd Kacsó, the CEO, is an ICF-accredited coach and a CNFPA-certified trainer. As a company, Azimut was certified a WorldBlu Freedom-Centered Workplace three years running, in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Azimut works with organizations of roughly 50 to 5,000 people, in Romania and across the wider region, typically ones that have already invested in leadership training and were disappointed by how little of it transferred. Clients include Bosch, Continental, Banca Transilvania, Deloitte, Bombardier, 8x8, Franke, Generali and Autonom. The buyers are usually HR and L&D directors, CEOs, and managers accountable for a defined population.
Leadership Architecture is Azimut’s sister brand for decision structure and authority design at executive level, founded by Szilárd Kacsó and published at leadershiparch.com. Azimut is its first certified delivery partner. The two operate one layer apart: Azimut builds behavioral capability through Capability OS, while Leadership Architecture works on decision rights and authority at the top of the organization. The Executive Capability Journey is delivered by both together.
